Like most other pet health insurance providers, we do not cover spaying or neutering for dogs for a specific reason. Spaying and neutering are both considered “voluntary procedures” (things considered unnecessary for the health of your pet) as well as something you can plan and budget for. But that’s okay, because dog insurance serves a far more crucial role for your pet’s health!
Our coverage helps ensure the cost of your dog’s new and unexpected veterinary treatments (for all the accidents and illnesses you can’t predict) doesn’t entirely fall on you to pay for in full.
