Yes, Trupanion coverage includes cruciate surgeries and related treatments. However, if your pet had cruciate problems on the same leg or the opposite leg 18 months prior to your policy effective date, they will be considered pre-existing and will not be able to be covered.

It’s worth noting that pre-existing condition can also be an injury or recurrence of an injury that occurred prior to your pet's coverage effective date and not eligible for coverage.
